Greatness...

This weekend, a great friend of mine married the man of her dreams! It was one of the most beautiful weddings I have ever seen and been a part of. The fun started on Thursday with a bachelorette party we threw for her, Friday was the rehearsal/dinner (which Randi and I got lost going to...) and the wedding on Saturday. I got sick from the lack of sleep, but I'd do it all over again just spend the weekend with some of the greatest people in my life.

Sick...

Like I said, I got sick this weekend. My dear, sweet, amazing, boyfriend, took care of me Sunday and yesterday. He's totally amazing and I love him dearly.

Work...

We recently hired someone new at work, so I'll be able to cut down at work and be able to concentrate more on what matters most to me. I'll be working M-F morning and every other Saturday morning. I'm super excited on what this means for me :)

Finally...

My apartment is finally clean. All clothes up, all dishes put away, and all text books neatly put in a closet or my car. It didn't take as long as I thought, I just had to force myself to start.

V-Day Weekend...

I'll be going home this weekend to see my beautiful family (well minus Suzette and Mark) and Sunday Aaron will make the drive and join us until we both leave Monday afternoon. I'm excited about just hanging out and not having to go to work or school for a few days.

Aaron and I will be having or Valentine's tomorrow night. I think we're just going to hang out and eat and maybe watch our movie. I'm trying to be super creative with his present, but I'm not coming up with much. I only have tonight/tomorrow morning to make things happen, so I guess we'll see happens.

I got my chem test grade back...freakin' 76! Kelly and I got the same grade, which happened to be the highest grade. My prof (dear ol' Doc Lemvarni) gave everyone 10 extra points bringing mine and Kel's grade to a respectful 86.

I recently figured out that if I'm going to make it in this world, I need to save money. After class today, Kelly and I went to the outlet mall (shhh) and she bought some stuff, and I bought some stuff that I would really love to keep, however, if I wish to pay my bills, I must take it back :(

I love green eyeshadow. I'm learning how to do a colored smokey eye and I'm falling more and more in love with the fact that my mood can be expressed by my make up. And, evenmoreso, I was told I was beautiful like 80 times today by random people and a few that I see on a daily basis.

I need to clean up my apartment, but have absolutely no motivation to pick things up. My clean laundry is now sitting on my futon waiting to be folded, my 5 dirty dishes are sitting in the sink waiting on me to unload my clean dishes so I can rinse them out and put them in there to get clean, my notebooks and books are sitting in several different piles around every room including the bathroom. So, I'm declaring that by Monday at noon everything in my apartment will be it's proper place...

I have currently lost 2 pounds :) I'm trying to lose like 5 more before Joanna's wedding and at least 20 before Suzette's wedding. So, I'm going to go run now...and then go eat and drink...haha :)

First post...

While sitting in class today, I started reading some blogs and decided it was a great way to pass the time and keep everyone updated on what's going with me...so, here goes.

I took a chem test today, which totally kicked my butt. Kelly and I have been studying since school started two weeks ago and we still walked out of there feeling totally defeated. This is the hardest class I've taken since my first chem class at A&M.

I'm moving my work out for today to tomorrow morning, so I can go home after class tonight and finish my laundry. It's been sitting there for two weeks, and I can't bring myself to do anything with it. But, I am currently out of things to wear to work...good thing I have tomorrow morning off. :)
